No question, this song will be on the mix!

Finally: WINTER EXCURSION 2

Now that Summer is officially here, and since all of us can hardly wait 'til it is over, and we are all dreaming of snow covered roads and below zero temperatures again (and even cooler wind chills), i've decided the time is ripe to present you with a tale of the winter season:

After All these months, and after growing my beard long for the occasion (close to two inches of beard, mind you), Winter Excursion II is finally here.

You may not want to read it at the moment. You may want to save the read for a day when it's sunny and 85 degrees, you know, when the worst of summer is really gettin' you down.

What i suggest is turning your air conditioner way up, close all the shades (to pretend that the sun still goes down
early in the evening), put on a sweater, and sprinkle powdered sugar on your computer monitor. Grab a warm cup of hot cocoa and cozy up to the greatest winter adventure story, nay, Epic Tale, ever told.

That's 53 pages of epic tale!

Change Of Plans

So originally i intended to make this blog all about "Winter Excursions" and other miscellaneous postings about my so called "life".

Instead it has become something of a internet oddities log. Well i'm going to go with it. I've created another blog purely for "Winter Excursion" and related entries. I'm currently working on completing "Winter Excursion 2". When that is done, i will link to it from this blog. (Perhaps i will even move the first "Winter Excursion" to it's rightful new place, if i ever have the time and energy).

Anyway, keep an eye out for the soon to be posted "Winter Excursion 2". And forgive me if i've strayed from my original aim with this blog.

Good Grief

Been watching Arrested Development again.
Looking forward to a possible motion picture

Some great quotes:

Tobias Fünke: " I would really like to kiss that man between the cheeks."

Tobias Fünke: "I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands."

Tobias Fünke: "Ooh, I can taste those meaty, leading man parts in my mouth!"

Tobias Fünke: "Time for me to take off my receptionist skirt and put on my Barbara Streisand in the Prince Of Tides ass-masking therapist pantsuit."

Tobias Fünke: "My schedule however, is as open as my relationship with my wife. So why don't we pair up? And hit the town together! I'll be your wingman. Even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up!"

Tobias Fünke as Mrs. Featherbottom: "Ok, who'd like a banger in the mouth? Oh...right, I forgot; here in the states you call it 'a sausage in the mouth'."

Rita: "You found out."
Michael Bluth: "It took me long enough."
Rita: "Maybe you're not smart either. I didn't know until they told me."
Michael Bluth: "No. I'm just a narcissist who was too self involved to see the truth."
Rita: "That makes no sense to me."
Michael Bluth: "You know, maybe you're right. Maybe I am being too hard on myself..."

Screen Cleaner

One thing about a monitor, is that you can always clean the outside of it, no problem but sometimes--and i don't know how this happens--dirt can show up on the inside of the screen.

So what does a person do? You'd have to take apart your monitor just to get in there to clean it.
Well, i'll share a tip for you all, there are free tools available on the web that can do this for you, and without dismantling your monitor.

For an LCD screen like i have, you need a tool that is coarse enough to really get in there. If you have this type of screen i recommend this screen cleaner:

However if you have a glossy screen, you don't want to use such a coarse scrubber as the one above. It may leave scratches. So the below link is what you would want.

Hope you find these useful.
