NEAT MIX III (happy new year)

This is the third "Neat Mix" compilation i put together for the fourth "Winter Excursion" (to learn more about the last published Winter Excursion click here). The Creation of the "Neat Mix" was inspired by Mike (a participant in annual Winter Excursions) and his annual tradition of a, what he calls, "Nice Comp". As my gift to you this New Year's Eve I have compiled a playlist of this year's Neat Mix that is playable - you can play the entire song (not just a stupid snippet of a song - nor is there a limit as to how many you can listen to).

Click the links to listen to entire song -

Would you like some bacon with your blog?

(Really, bacon goes well with any website).

Often very good.
The best part is that in every 'episode'

Judging A Book By Its Awesome Cover

OK, Just saw this book on his website.
By the cover alone, i need to buy this book. Hilarious!

Here are some more articles on his site that i find worthy of reading multiple times:

• Halloween '08
• Some Things You Could Put in a Wheelbarrow...
• Fruit Smackdown
• Roller Boogie Tampa
• Roller Boogie Update
• My Daughter's First Day of School
• Hi Everybody

"Perhaps I know best why it is man alone who laughs; he alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter." Nietzsche.

Some incredibly DARK Onion articles.
(Warning: These articles are sick and emotionally torturous):

• "Kidnapped Boy Found Safe, Imagines Kidnapped Boy"

• "If it's any consolation..."

• "Daddy Put in Bye Bye Box"

• "Don't Feel Sad...", by JonBenet Ramsey

• School Bully... (Headline).

Oh, to write for the Onion!

Finally: WINTER EXCURSION 2

Now that Summer is officially here, and since all of us can hardly wait 'til it is over, and we are all dreaming of snow covered roads and below zero temperatures again (and even cooler wind chills), i've decided the time is ripe to present you with a tale of the winter season:

After All these months, and after growing my beard long for the occasion (close to two inches of beard, mind you), Winter Excursion II is finally here.

You may not want to read it at the moment. You may want to save the read for a day when it's sunny and 85 degrees, you know, when the worst of summer is really gettin' you down.

What i suggest is turning your air conditioner way up, close all the shades (to pretend that the sun still goes down early in the evening), put on a sweater, and sprinkle powdered sugar on your computer monitor. Grab a warm cup of hot cocoa and cozy up to the greatest winter adventure story, nay, Epic Tale, ever told.

That's 53 pages of epic tale!
